Née en 1966 aux États-Unis, Grace Riggan est une artiste qui a fait des Cévennes sa maison et son atelier depuis 2018. Elle a été architecte et artisan (menuisier et charpentier), avec sa propre entreprise de conception-construction aux États-Unis pendant 16 ans, avant de s'installer en France en 2015. Elle s'est alors davantage tournée vers l'art du batik, qu'elle pratique depuis plus de 30 ans. Riggan est également une passionnée de randonnée et de jardinage, ainsi qu'une adepte du yoga et de la méditation. ‍ ‍

Grace Riggan is an artist who has made the Cévennes Mountains of Southern France her home and studio since 2018.  She was an architect and artisan (woodworker and carpenter), with her own design-build business in the United States for 16 years, before moving to France in 2015. She then turned her focus more to the art of batik, which she has been practicing for more than 30 years. Riggan is also an avid hiker and gardener, as well as a practitioner of yoga and meditation.
